Pastel pink cotton dress in a superb fine stripe fabric. A gorgeous piece in which the fabric harmonizes beautifully with the delicacy of the smocks, handmade by Indian artisans. The small yoke supports the smocks, which host a line of pink flowers, also hand-embroidered. The gathers generated by the smocks flare out to the base, finished with a hem. In the back, the flat bodice supports the gathers of the skirt. Balloon sleeves with button-trimmed cuffs and a flat scalloped collar embroidered with foliate scrolls fit naturally into this vintage-cut dress. The full-height button placket opens with natural mother-of-pearl buttons concealed beneath a frilly ruffle.
